Thanks, I'll take a look at it.
I'm almost done porting a ROM that works pretty well...stay tuned!!!!!!
We still don't have a 1080p kernel, but I couldn't wait any longer to post a beta version of the ROM I've been working on all day.
This is a port of the Finless ROM for the Minix Neo X7 he just posted yesterday.
Basically, I took his system and recovery images and combined them with the UT1 kernel and boot images and copied the device drivers over from the stock system to Bob's X7 system...that took a while to troubleshoot. Wifi wouldn't work with the X7 kernel...so I had to make that work first and foremost. I found an error/bug in the stock recovery I dumped from my device which kept it from formatting the internal SD. Thankfully, the X7 recovery took care of that and all is now working.
This ROM is:
Google Play Store fixes
Init.d support added
Location Services enabled
Gameloft fix added
I can't tell at this time whether the vsync issue was fixed...since I'm using the Ugoos kernel. We will have to test and see.
Here is the download link to the beta:
I will be sure and post a new thread when all of the pieces are together.
Please test away and enjoy!!!!!!!!
Open the readme file and look it over before flashing....also I included a First Time User's Guide (Geared mainly to tablet flashing, but please read the part on installing the Windows drivers).
If this ROM makes a difference for you, please consider a donation to support future RileyROM's here at Freaktab.com Donate!!!
Thanks rrileypm for your works. I tried this rom but still unable to support the audio. Could you please help to migrate the webcam support with audio from k-r42 1.2.0 hfw ver. to this rom?
Sorry if I make you confuse. I tried to find the rom which have the audio support for webcam chat. And only rom k-r42 1.2.0 which is recommended by lewy20041 worked. Is it due to the original kernel?
use kernel from 1.2.0 for usb audio.
but you will have constant reboots.
its kind of drm thing so you need to stick with k-r42 firmware.
its not my idea;p
Ok...it sounds like you have a unique application for this device.
I will stick with the stock kernel in my rom, though...but refer others who need USB audio to try this. Yes it is a solution, but not necessarily ready for prime time...I see some support headaches going that route.
I appreciate your testing of this and keep me posted on your experience. I have plenty to learn about TV boxes.
Can i flash it to mk809iii?
Can you port it to mk809iii ou teach me how to change the drivers to work to my mk809iii?

I disassemble my Ugoos UT1 lastnight (just bought it from China mainland whatever)
The dealer told me that he can give me a good price if i take the Ugoos UT1, not the Kaiboer F4.
He said that Ugoos UT1 is for export only, no retail in China.
But I believe that Ugoos UT1 will be same structure as Kaiboer F4.
Actually, The K-R42(CS-918) in China mainland has 2 kind of stock
Genuine vs OEM， retail price was difference around RMB 80~100 (rmb470 vs rmb380)
